During lunchtime the fire alarm was accidently activated in the Class 2 corridor.
I am extremely pleased to say that all the children remained calm and left the building quickly to our meeting area.
Whilst this did cause alarm, it was an excellent learning experience for all the children. We are all now aware of what to do in the event of this happening again during break or lunchtimes.
Well done everyone on remaining calm, responsible and safe!
For all parents travelling on the A9 to school please be aware there has been an accident just before the turn off to the Dairy. Ambulance and police at scene but at present there are huge tail backs.
Please take your time and we will see the children when they arrive. Some of our staff may also be stuck so please bear with us.
Thank you to all the children and parents who braved the cold and frost to be with us tonight. The service was lovely and the children’s singing was beautiful. It was lovely to see past pupils, now in S1, come back to join us for our yearly sing along.
Here are just a few photos from the evening.
