Fire Alarm

During lunchtime the fire alarm was accidently activated in the Class 2 corridor.

I am extremely pleased to say that all the children remained calm and left the building quickly to our meeting area.

Whilst this did cause alarm, it was an excellent learning experience for all the children. We are all now aware of what to do in the event of this happening again during break or lunchtimes.

Well done everyone on remaining calm, responsible and safe!

For all parents travelling on the A9 to school please be aware there has been an accident just before the turn off to the Dairy.  Ambulance and police at scene but at present there are huge tail backs.

Please take your time and we will see the children when they arrive. Some of our staff may also be stuck so please bear with us.

Class 1 – Church Visit

A big thank you to Russell, who led the carol service on Monday night and who showed us around Daviot Church today. Class 1 loved exploring and learning about the history and significance of the church in our local community. We especially loved the bell: “it’s so high up that my hat fell off!”

Thank you as well to Pauline for coming along with us. It was a very interesting afternoon 🙂

Class 1 – Looking Back at Our Week

Class 1 have had a bustling four days! This week, we have engaged in:

Our final week looks to be equally eventful, so please keep an eye on the blog for extra info and updates. Could we kindly also request that all Pupil Profile folders are returned to school on Monday.
