Class 1- Holiday News

Over the past couple of days, Class 1 have been sharing news from their summer break. As we are intending to write about our holidays at the end of this week, I have told the children that they are welcome to bring in a related item or photograph to show their peers.

There is no obligation to do this and I have explained that they must have parental permission, however I will ensure that any items brought in are handled with care and returned.

If you would like to email in a photo, feel free to send it to my email address or that of the school office.

Many thanks,

Miss Costa 🙂

Music Lessons Available

The Strathnairn Music Initiative is a community funded project aimed at providing affordable music tuition to residents of Strathnairn.  We deliver instrument tuition each Wednesday afternoon/evening during term-time and also run a local Choir every other Thursday evening, all held at Farr Community Hall.

We are now ready to start our activities for academic year 2019/20 and are able to offer a few extra spaces on the following classes:

– Drumming lessons, 7pm to 7.30pm (all levels, adults or children)

– Fun Music Session, 4pm to 4.30pm (aimed at age 3 to P1 level)

– Guitar lessons, 7pm to 7.30pm (primary school age level)

– Musicianship Class, 6pm to 6.30pm (P2 to P5 level)

Please contact a member of the SMI team if you would like to enrol, or find out more information about any of our classes or the Choir.  Email: strathnairnmusicinitiative@gmail.com, or telephone: 01808 521218 and ask for Fran.
