Class 1- Daviot Wood Letter

Yesterday, Class 1 children went home with a letter about a special outdoor session that will take place this Thursday afternoon (13th June).

As part of our current topic ‘Grow, Grow, Grow’, we are heading into Daviot Wood for a set of activities led by a local ranger.

Children will be transported by bus or staff car to a nearby entrance after their lunch break and will return to school in time for 3pm.

If any parents/ carers haven’t received this letter or need a new copy, please get in touch with the school office as soon as possible.  Please also get in touch if you do not wish for your child to participate in this event.

Many thanks,

Miss Costa

Excellent Engineering Effort!

Last week, Class 1 and Class 2 had an assembly to welcome back our P7s and to catch up on recent school achievements.

During this time, we were delighted to announce that Skye and Semaiah have both been given a distinction for their entries in this year’s Scottish Engineering Leaders Award! This means that their invention designs and letters were put on display at a public exhibition in Glasgow.

All of the children in Class 1 did an excellent job on their entries and will be receiving a certificate for their efforts. Well done again to everyone who took part, we are so proud of you! 👏🏻👏🏻
