Goodbye Mr S-W

Today we said goodbye to Mr Scott-Woodhouse as our PE teacher.   The children all made messages for him and we presented him with a card at the end of the day.

We hope he enjoys his new schools and we look forward to meeting our new PE teacher in a couple of weeks.

PE will now be on a MONDAY MORNING, starting 10th June.

*Class 1 Cawdor Gardens- Trip Tomorrow*

A reminder that Class 1’s trip to Cawdor Castle Gardens is taking place tomorrow, Friday 31st May.

We will be starting with a guided tour around the gardens, followed by a practical activity, then a break for lunch and some free time to play and explore.

We will leave at about 9.15am and be back before 3pm. Children should come to school dressed in appropriate clothing and prepared for a full day of outdoor learning. We suggest:

  • A waterproof coat (and trousers if possible)
  • Layers to keep warm (including hat, gloves and spare socks)
  • Appropriate footwear (such as boots or wellies)

All children will also need a snack and a packed lunch.

If the weather is similar to today, we will be going ahead as planned. If it worsens considerably, we will postpone the visit. A decision will be made in the morning (after the school day starts) and we will notify you on the blog.

If there are any queries, please do get in touch.

Many thanks,

Miss Costa
