Dear Parent Carer
The Millburn Academy 2019 Romania team, who work with Blythswood Care, are hosting a Halloween film night on Monday 29 October for all primary 5-7 pupils from our feeder primaries and their family and friends to raise funds for their trip next summer. This would allow pupils to visit their link secondary school as part of the transition process and have a fun night at the same time.
Parents/Carers do not have to stay for the duration of the film as they will be supervised by adults and senior pupils but are most welcome to stay. If your son/daughter needs any special care or assistance however, it would be advisable for them to be accompanied (free of charge).
We plan to start the film sharp at 6 pm with the doors opening at 5.40 pm. It is estimated that the film will end at 8 pm for parents/carers to pick them up.
Tickets cost £4 for the film. There will be snacks and drinks for sale before the film starts in the foyer, including freshly made popcorn.
Pupils are invited to dress up for the event if they wish to but this is not compulsory. There will be prizes for the best costumes on the night. If they wish to come along in their onesies and take along a blanket etc they can.
If you have any questions contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
