Class 1 Homework

Just a small note to mention that Class 1 have been asked to return their homework folders by Monday. On Tuesdays, new homework will be issued. More details will follow in the coming weeks, but if you have any specific queries please get in touch.

Many thanks,

Miss Costa

Please get in touch if you can help.

All children attending will be collected from school and walked to the hall for 3.15pm. All parents should collect their children from the village hall after the class.

Class 1 Puppet Show

Class 1 were treated to a matinee show today! Skye and Semaiah had their friends in fits of laughter as they performed their original story of ‘The Animals and the Princess’. The girls started preparing earlier in the week, choosing their characters and making tickets. Well done you two, and well done to all the children who took it upon themselves to help with making props and decorations.

Class 2 Baking

Class 2 enjoyed an afternoon of baking shortbread today. Through our topic ‘Around the World’, we will be looking at food, textiles and important landmarks from different countries.

We are hoping to bake/cook some other dishes from around the world.

Tomorrow we will be writing the recipe. Keep your eyes peeled if you fancy trying this at home!

Blas Festival Update

Thank you to everyone who responded to taking part in the Blas festival on Saturday 15th September. Due to the low number of children available to attend the event we will, unfortunately, not be able to take part.

I believe there are still tickets available for the event if you wish to enjoy the festival as a family.
