5 Star Gold Award

This afternoon we had our weekly assembly, and talked about the importance of kindness.

We also celebrated our two new 5 Star Gold Award winners:

Lucy received the award for believing in herself and developing her confidence. She worked beautifully alongside her fellow Digital Leaders to deliver a presentation at last week’s assembly.

Amica received the award for her kind, outgoing and helpful approach towards others. She is always polite and takes pride in being a good friend.

Congratulations girls, we are all very proud of you!

Class 2 Fraction Hunt

This morning Class 2 embarked on a challenging fractions hunt. Unfortunately the weather was against us so we ended up finishing it indoors.

The class were completing the hunt as part of their end of topic assessment (KAT). They worked super hard. On Monday we will be reflecting on our learning and setting our next steps.

Internet Safety-Class 2

Today we started looking at the Google programme- Be Internet Legends. The children enjoyed working together to create a character. They then had to write any personal information on the character. We discussed in great detail what information is safe to share and what information is unsafe.

I was really pleased with the responses the children gave. Well done Class 2!

In the afternoon we enjoyed playing a game to reinforce our learning on the Chromebook.

5 Star Gold Award Assembly

This morning we had assembly to celebrate our 5 Star Gold Award winners. This week the award was given to:

Ellie G for settling into a new school and class with ease. Well done Ellie!

Euan for becoming more independent in his everyday tasks. Well done Euan!

We’re very proud of our 5 Star Gold Award winners.

Fun Friday

It was a lovely afternoon today so we took our learning outside. This afternoon the P6s enjoyed some training at Millburn to become Playground Leaders.

The rest of the school enjoyed playing What’s the Time Mr Wolf (in French), 10 Second Object and Someone Moved. Thank you to Miss Costa for coordinating the games. It was great fun!
