What a Performance!

IMG_0385Team Daviot smashed it at the Inter-school sports on Saturday. Incredibly, we scooped a record ten medals at the event. Our previous best was two! Many congratulations to everyone in the team; I’m so proud of you all. A very special mention must go out to Archie for turning up to compete despite being in A&E the night before – what incredible dedication to the cause! A special mention also goes out to Calum for stepping in as a sub, racing against P7s, and then winning a bronze. Unbelievable! Check out the team’s achievements below.

  • Gold – Shot Putt
  • Silver – 600m

Three 5 Star Awards Today!

Five Stars go to Calum and Archie for their incredible effort at the Inter-school sports on Saturday. Five Stars also go out to Jake for dazzling Miss K with his mental arithmetic skills during human chess. He also stunned me (and his classmates) with his wonderful topic work. When two different teachers nominate you for an award, you know you’ve had a great week. Well done to all three boys!

***Cawdor Castle***

bannerOneI am hoping to take the children to Cawdor Castle on Friday. Unfortunately, we have lost out transport. If any parents would be willing to take some pupils – and pick them up – it would be greatly appreciated. We are planning to leave school at 9.15am, and we will be leaving the castle at 2.15pm.

If you are in a position to help us out, can you drop Carol an email?

Thanks for your support.

***Parent Council Meeting***

I’m just adding a quick post to remind everyone that Mr Bone has scheduled a parent council meeting for this evening (6.30pm – 7.30pm) in the main school building. Carol has very kindly offered to provide a child minding service. I look forward to seeing everyone who can attend.
