***Millburn Day Structure***

***For P7 Parents***

Dear Parent/Carer,

Arrangements are progressing well for the P7 transition days which take place on Wed 21st and Thurs 22nd June 2017, and for the P7 information evening which takes place in the hall at 7pm on Tues 20 June 2017.  Generally, these days are an opportunity for pupils to meet their S1 teachers, to meet their classmates and to follow their timetable in preparation for the rigours of their secondary school curriculum whilst the information evening is an opportunity for parents/carers and young people to find out more about the school in preparation for starting in August.

While I will be in touch closer to the time with further details about these dates I wanted to let you have a note of school hours at Millburn Academy as they are a little different from those of your child’s primary school and may be helpful to you in planning for August.

In line with Highland Council policy directives, Millburn Academy will amend its working week with effect from Mon 5th June 2017.  The working week will consist of the same number of working hours for pupils and staff but will be structured as follows: (NB 32 periods plus one divided over five days for registration).
