***Trip on Friday***

cawdorcastle20070506-1I’m just adding a quick post to remind everyone that we have a school trip to Cawdor Castle on Friday. Earlier today, Carol sent out an email out to all the parents helping us out with transport. If there are any problems with these arrangements, please give me a ring on the school number tomorrow morning. We are planning to leave Daviot at 9.15am, and we will be leaving the castle at 2.15pm. All pupils will need a packed lunch, water bottle and suitable clothing for an out of school excursion. Thanks for your support.

What a Performance!

IMG_0385Team Daviot smashed it at the Inter-school sports on Saturday. Incredibly, we scooped a record ten medals at the event. Our previous best was two! Many congratulations to everyone in the team; I’m so proud of you all. A very special mention must go out to Archie for turning up to compete despite being in A&E the night before – what incredible dedication to the cause! A special mention also goes out to Calum for stepping in as a sub, racing against P7s, and then winning a bronze. Unbelievable! Check out the team’s achievements below.

Three 5 Star Awards Today!

Five Stars go to Calum and Archie for their incredible effort at the Inter-school sports on Saturday. Five Stars also go out to Jake for dazzling Miss K with his mental arithmetic skills during human chess. He also stunned me (and his classmates) with his wonderful topic work. When two different teachers nominate you for an award, you know you’ve had a great week. Well done to all three boys!
