Terrific Trip to Tornagrain

Class 2 would like to say a huge thank you to Andrew and Nicole for showing us around the the Tornagrain project today. Their vision for a twenty first century town was fascinating, and the pupils learnt so much about the development process. Unfortunately, Tornagrain won’t be completed for another 50 years – so I don’t think I will be taking the children on a school trip to see what it looks like when it is finished. Ha-ha!

***Bit of a Bug***

I’m just adding a quick message to let parents know that there seems to be a bit of a bug flying around the school at the moment. It appears to be a 48 hour thing. The symptoms are a mild fever, sore throat/cough – and, well, just feeling a bit yucky. Daviot children aren’t prone to pulling sickies, so I thought it was safe post this on the blog. Ha-ha.

Thank You!

I just wanted to add a quick post to thank everyone who attended the parent council meeting last night. It was so nice to see such a large turnout, showing so much support for our small community school.
