Coding Towards a CREST Award!

Class 2 had a brilliant time at the University of Highlands and Islands STEM Hub this morning. We were invited along to its state of the art facility for a fascinating computer programming workshop. I would like to say a huge thank you to Sam, Evelyn and Mr Elder for their expert tuition. Our pupils’ work will help them on their way to the British Science Association’s CREST Award. It was also a brilliant starting point for our entry into this year’s Raspberry Pi competition. Well done, everyone!

Mystery Key!

Daniel has been an absolute superstar clearing up the leaves this week. He is always the first person I ask when a big job needs doing outside. Today, to everyone’s surprise, he found a key hidden in the undergrowth. We have no idea where it came from or what it opens. I said it was a “myster-key” but nobody found it funny apart from me! Ha-ha.
