This post is to apologise to our P1 parents. Unfortunately, Daviot Primary’s picture was missed out of the Inverness Courier’s P1 Supplement today. I can assure parents that I took the picture myself, and I sent it in weeks ago. But apparently, they can’t find it. I’m trying not to take it personally. The paper said they would see what they could do about it. The Courier was at the Lego Mindstorm workshop today, and they took lots of pictures. So, I’m hoping we can get the P1s on the page too. Please accept my sincere apologies.
I’m just adding a quick post remind parents that the Cross Country Championships will be held at The Bught Park tomorrow. The scheduled start time is 10.30am, but competing teams and helpers must report by 10am. Please send pupils fully prepared to participate (e.g. trainers, water bottle, PE kit, snack etc.). Team Daviot tracksuits have been kept in school.
Good luck, Kirsten, Evette, Ethan and Archie!
Awesome! Just AWESOME! Many thanks to Allessio and everyone at Skills Development Scotland. Team Daviot had an incredible morning. We can’t wait to go back!
Wow!!! Brilliant work! Well done, Ethan. Well done, everyone!
Mrs MacAskill has very kindly offered to provide some tasty treats for the children to purchase at the danceathon on Friday. As it is for such a good cause, I will be allowing none-healthy things too! Ha-ha. I know the pupils will be delighted! All proceeds will go to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. I would like to say a huge thank you to Heather for her lovely offer to help out. Go Team Daviot!
