It’s no exaggeration to say that Ethan rejoining Daviot has been brilliant for the team. His charming personality, incredible work ethic and fantastic sense of humour light up the classroom every day. Ethan is also a friend to everyone, which is a delight to see. Not only that, this week, he suffered a very nasty bump to the head. He took it all in his stride and was desperate to get back to school the very next day. Ethan is a credit to his family and the school; I really wish he’d been with us for longer. Well done young man! I am very proud of you – and you should be very proud of yourself!
Well done, Fern! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me.
Well done, Evette. I’m so proud of you. The fact that you said you quite like maths now made my day. It also reminded me why I love my job so much! You are a STAR!!!
It was so nice to see every pupil in school with a healthy snack today. The children had a range of vegetables, fruits, nuts and grains – and not a sweet, cake or chocolate bar in sight! A big well done goes out to Shiloh and Skye for choosing some very tasty looking carrots! I nearly pinched one of them myself! Obviously, it is every parent’s decision what snack they send to school. I am just hoping to encourage the pupils to make one healthy food choice at morning break. Hopefully, this will encourage them to make good ‘independent’ snack choices as they get older. I will confer with parents before I decide if I should make this school policy. Thanks for your support.
