As part of our new topic ‘All About Me’, P4-7 pupils will be doing some geography work about how and where we spend our time in the local area. Consequently, I have decided to take this opportunity to introduce the pupils to some of the leisure pursuits that Inverness has to offer. I also think they could inspire some very engaging writing activities – a focus for this academic year. Not only that, I think they will provide some wonderful team bonding experiences for our brand new ‘older’ class (Class 2). The first trip is to Inverness Kart Raceway on Monday. Please return the permission slip sent home today as soon as possible. If any parent is not comfortable with their child attending, the pupil will be able to join Mrs MacPherson’s class for the morning. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
