***Day of Sport***

img_0328This post is to remind parents that pupils will be taking part in a Rural Schools’ Health Day at Queens Park tomorrow. The class will travel by bus, leaving at approximately 9.30am. The bus will return to school before the end of the day. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend, so Mrs Fraser will be the leading teacher. Please ensure children are fully prepared for a day of outdoor sport (e.g. sports clothes, jumper, trainers, coat, sunscreen, cap etc.). A packed lunch will also be required. We have a few outstanding permission slips. If you haven’t already done so, I’d really appreciate it if you could send your child’s permission slip into school tomorrow. If the letter didn’t make it home – which happens quite often – an email to: daviot.primary@highland.gov.uk to confirm permission will be fine. Thanks.

Thank you, Mr Williams!

Team Daviot welcomed Mark Williams from HRI Architects into school today. Mr Williams delivered an inspirational session about the architecture of famous buildings around the world. He also challenged the class to design their very own perfect primary school. Ideas included a skate park and elephant enclosure! Ha-ha. Brilliant! It was a fantastic and fascinating morning. We really hope Mr Williams comes back to visit us soon!
