Happy Holidays!

Have a wonderful break, everyone. I look forward to seeing you all again next term. School reopens on Monday 11th April – and I am pleased to announce that we will be joined by three new pupils! Amazing news!IMG_2063

Thank you, Team Drakies!

I would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Pirie, Mrs Macleod, Mrs Douglas and Miss McLoughlin for looking after our P7s so well this week. I know our children will never forget this school trip! The positive impact the staff and pupils at Drakies Primary have had on our P7s’ transition to Milliburn is immeasurable! Thank you must also go to Mrs Taylor for promoting such a special inter-school bond! We can’t wait to work together again next term!

***Swimming Tomorrow***

CaptureEven though it is the last day of term tomorrow, swimming lessons continue as normal. There will be two further sessions at the Aquadome after the Easter break. Please remind your children to bring their swimming kits to school. Thanks for your support.

***School Mobile***

I am just adding a quick message to notify parents that my work mobile is not working at the moment. If anyone needs to contact me urgently – outside of school hours – the best platform is the school blog. Any messages tagged ‘private’ will never be posted to the live site. I will endeavor to respond as quickly as possible. Thanks.

P7 Residential Visit Tomorrow!

nethybridge_directions_banner (1)I would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Taylor – and all our friends at Drakies – for inviting Daviot’s P7s on their residential trip to Abernethy. I know our pupils are really excited, but we will definitely miss them all next week. Have a wonderful time, everyone! I would also like to remind parents to drop their children off at Drakies in the morning. Go Team Draviot!

National Finalists!

I am thrilled to announce that Team Daviot’s Eye-SPi Drummer has reached the final of PA’s Raspberry Pi computer programming competition. Members of our team have been invited to attend the Institution of Engineering and Technology in London for the judging next month. All schools, colleges and clubs in the UK and Republic of Ireland were eligible to enter. What an incredible achievement! Go Team Daviot!
