Daviot pupils were invited to vote on equipment to be included in the new community play area being developed at Farr. There were lots of amazing things to choose from, and the class had great fun deciding on their favourites. However, Rory would like me to suggest a skatepark section, because that wasn’t on the equipment list. I thought it was a brilliant idea, so I will definitely pass his idea on to the Community Council.
I would like to say a very big well done to Shiloh and Yvie. They have been working really hard on their handwriting skills over the last couple of weeks, and the results are definitely starting to pay off. However, I must give an extra special mention to Shiloh for her wonderful progress in all of aspects of her literacy work. It’s hard to believe she has only been at school for a matter of weeks! Truly Amazing!
WARNING! WARNING! 100% Educational. 200% Anarchic. 300% Entertaining. 400% Explosive! I am pleased to announce, Team Daviot will be attending Ministry of Science Live at Eden Court on November 20th. It should be great fun. I will be sending out permission slips with more information next week – but if you would like details about the event now, please visit: https://www.eden-court.co.uk/whats-on/shows/ministry-of-science
Team Daviot are going to the pantomime on the last day of term. It should be a wonderful end to the year. The performance starts at 1.30pm, and it is expected to last about 2 hours. Therefore, I will be asking parents to pick up their children from Eden Court after the performance concludes. If this is likely to cause any problems, please let me know in advance. I will post a reminder and more details nearer the time. Thanks for your support.
