Thank you!

I would like to say a huge thank you to the parents – and children – that looked after the polytunnel during the holiday. I think you will all agree, the results have been spectacular! I would like to say a special thank you to Rachel – Evie’s Mum – for coordinating the gardening timetable. But, as usual, everyone was amazing. Team Daviot really are the best!

Superstar Shiloh!

Shiloh’s second day at Daviot Primary was even more eventful than her first! Check out the pictures… she didn’t stop all day. To be honest, I’m not convinced she is a P1 pupil at all. I think she might be a P5 in disguise! Well done, Shiloh. I am so proud of the way you have settled in to Team Daviot. You are a superstar!

Lovely Work, Lucca

Team Daviot were making paper gyrocopters in Technology today – and Lucca was excellent. He listened carefully, followed the instructions brilliantly, and produced two awesome ‘copters’. Well done, Lucca. The future of the Saltire team looks in good hands!

Soccer Skills

After being very low on boys at Daviot Primary School for such a long time, it was great to see the P2 and P3 boys playing football in the BDA area today. Many thanks must go to Joshua for bringing in his ball and organising the kick about! Well done, young man.

Water Bottles

Just another quick post to ask all parents to send a water bottle with their child/children that can be left in school all week. I will wash and fill the bottles every day, and then I will send them back home on a Friday for a proper deep clean. Thanks for your support.

Reading and Homework

I’m just adding a quick note to inform all parents that I will start sending home reading books and homework activities from Monday. I will also send any pertinent information regarding these tasks in the pupils’ home-packs. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
