Evie’s Sci-Ku Design

The or123ganisers of the International Science Festival contacted me yesterday – and I was thrilled to discover that their graphic designers have created an amazing design to accompany Evie’s Solar Sci-Ku.

I think they have done a  fantastic job, and I am so pleased that Evie’s work will be getting even more recognition. Well done again!

If you would like to print it off, I have attached it to the link below.

JRSO Exhibition

Team Daviot’s three Junior Road Safety Officers had a wonderful trip to the JRSO Exhibition today. The JRSO programme encourages road safety peer education and promotes partnership working between pupils, parents, teachers and other school staff. So I was very happy to hear all the wonderful ideas the pupils came back with to promote road safety in our school. I also had to laugh when I heard Rory had volunteered to introduce the Road Safety Magic Show. Apparently, the audience had been offered a £50 bribe to step up to the front. Unsurprisingly, Rory was first up! Sadly, he didn’t get his money. But well done, Rory. You did us proud!

Polytunnel: Phase 2

I would like to say a big thank you to Dave Elder for coming along to school last night to complete Phase 2 of the polytunnel project. We just need to finish the door and then the pupils can start preparing the ground for planting. The tunnel looks fantastic, Dave. Thank you!

Cool School Collage!

We had another brilliant visit from Charlotte today – and look at the fantastic collage we created for the school entrance. I am also reposting Charlotte’s comment because it is so lovely…  Thank you Team Daviot! I always love coming to Daviot as it is a real pleasure to work with such an amazing, friendly and very talented team. Thank you again, I can’t wait to visit again soon!IMG_9460
